"Contacted these guys a week ago provided simple sheet metal cut .dxf files. Was told I needed to wait 1-2 business days for a quote. It was Memorial Day weekend. So I figured I would be contacted Tuesday or Wednesday. No, I had to reach out to them and ask the problem/delay. They inform me it's a "no quote" that the person they contract did not want to take on the job. I asked for quotes on 10 and 20pc of my product which there are 3 products total. They could not produce ANY and one takes no bending or anything just a cut from sheet metal. They claim to be a prototype business which does one off parts. They have 3D parts they have produced in their images....but somehow can't product a simple cut from sheet metal. The fact I had to reach out multiple times only to get denied is an absolute joke in every sense. What machine shops don't have a plasma or waterjet table? Don't waste your time here it was a horrible experience. I provided picture evidence of their response."
My desktop background is set to slideshow. At this moment I am seeing an image on the desktop. How do I find the corresponding image file? For example, it would be enough to find the slideshow folder and look for a similar image there manually. What I tried: Right-click on the desktop / Personalize / Background / Slideshow / Browse button.
16 Using this trick one can easily change the target folder for many personal directories including the desktop: Don't forget to create a backup before changing anything. Open the Registry editor (Regedit.exe) Browse to the location: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders.

What is "Debian desktop environment"? Hello all, I have a question. While installing Debian, you get option to install DE of your choice. I usually pick my favorite XFCE and deselect Debian desktop environment. What is it? Am I missing something when I deselect it and instal only XFCE?
On Windows 10, I was really accustomed to showing desktop by right-clicking the taskbar and selecting "Show desktop". That was easier to me than clicking on the bottom-right corner.
I'm using Windows 11, and I have Onedrive set to sync Desktop and Downloads. I don't like this feature, because every time I put a 1 gig file on either folder it instantly starts syncing to my Oned...
The icons that are circled in yellow are the ones I'm trying to remove: Home, Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures, and Videos. These icons came preloaded onto the laptop when I purchased it. One of the first things I did with this computer was get windows and drivers all up to date and removed some bloatware.
There is this annoying and useless icon pinned to the Windows 11 taskbar that I cannot figure out how to remove: When I hover over it, it shows "Desktop 1" and "New desktop".
