How to make a forest plot with Excel? - Cross Validated
Excel gets a bad rap (I suspect because of those horrible 3d graphs and inappropriate pie charts), but this is fairly easily accomplished in Excel charts. It simply takes knowing how to arrange elements on the chart. This example by Jon Peltier on how to make box plots in Excel can be very easily adapted to forest plots.

I am planning to use a simple forest plot to visualise the odds ratios for readers. However, because they are measured on different scales, the odds ratios for the continuous predictors look tiny in comparison to the odds ratios for the binary predictors (as an increase of 1 year of age of course leads to only a small increase in the ...

Univariate cox regression in many subgroups (subsets) in R
My plan is to tabulate the "n", "number of events", "HR" (exp (coef)), "lower .95" and "upper .95" to create a forest plot afterwards. But as you can see, my code is too tedious and too repetitive as the number of subsets increases.

transform - Scale of X axis in forest plot - Cross Validated
Thus $10^ {-1}=0.1$ and $10 = 10^1$ equidistant and so are $0.5=10^ {-0.3}$ and $2=10^ {0.3}.$ Moreover, those latter values are 30% of the way along the axis towards the endpoints. Because, as the OP notes, the risk ratio is a difference in log odds, it is natural to plot these intervals on a log odds scale.
