PowerPoint Zoom does not keep background picture transparency

Cannot send emails after Windows Update Orignal Title: Since windows update I can't send any new messages. I can respond to emails.Try to add outgoing acct and it doesn't take.??? Before recent update-last week, I had no problems with outgoing e-mail. I must say everytime windows updates me I have problems of one kind or another. I have vista.
